Unitl recently my life has always been go, go, go.  1000 miles an hour w long days, lots of caffeine, pre workout drinks, and late nights.  At 40 I am feeling the effects of thel ife that I've chosen live but like anything in life if you seek more for yourself and want happiness you must always be growing.  A lot of times that means embracing that in which you dislike in life or things that are hard for you.  For me that is slowing down, being ok w doing less and putting my health first, letting success wait for another day because you can't be healhty living on five hours of sleep, and embracing the concept of rest days to let your body get stronger even though you love working out and don't want to take a day off.  This book was amazing for addressing everything from meditation, recovery methods, how to practice, protecting your time, being effecient, undserstanding it's ok to say no to protect your health, and a number of other strategies that we tend to dismiss or not want to think about because they tend to stand in the way of  the goals we are working toward today.  As I get older I am at a point where I understand all the little things I add into my life have a compounding effect over every year and decade in my life and too often we say we don't have time to bring this or that into our lives, only to look back five or ten years later and say
